ISHTA Yoga Teacher Training is a profound and joyful journey that will transform your practice and study of yoga – and possibly even change your life. ISHTA is a modern integration of the ancient pillars of Hatha, Tantra and Ayurveda into a seamless system that honors each individual body and spirit on its path back to union with intelligence, respect and love.
The Berlin ISHTA Yoga Teacher Training Programs are one of the few English-language yoga trainings in Berlin, catering to Berlin’s diverse population of both international and German yogis. All programs are internationally Yoga Alliance certified and are led by Yogiraj Julie Blumenthal, a master teacher in the lineage, supported by additional ISHTA faculty and a range of visiting guest experts and specialists (read more about our faculty here). Trainings are limited in size to ensure a good group bond and maximize individual attention and learning. A maximum of two scholarship spaces are available per training.
Our 200-hour and Bridge Programs are open to all serious students who wish to deepen their path in yoga, whether with an eye toward teaching, or simply for their own knowledge and growth. The 300-hour Professional Program is for graduates of a 200-Hour Program who wish to further their studies and are serious about a career in teaching yoga. The next training cycle will begin in Fall 2018. Visit the 200 or 300-hour pages below for more information or to apply!

The ISHTA Bridge program for teachers and advanced students
The ISHTA Bridge Program is a mini-course of approximately 30 hours of lecture and practice, providing a comprehensive foundation in ISHTA teaching and practice. It’s a primer in the techniques and knowledge that define ISHTA as a style, a lineage and a school. (For teachers considering an ISHTA 300-Hour / Level II training, the Bridge Program is a requirement for entrance into the 300-Hour program.) For more information on the ISHTA Bridge, click here.
